Thoughts on this BB bomber jacket? Alternatives you may know

I have been searching for a jacket for the forthcoming cold winter season in Los Angeles (

). I have narrowed my search and am looking for a good looking bomber jacket. I have always been indifferent to bomber jackets because most I see look like something a meat packer or dockworker would wear on the job. I think this has to do mostly with fit.

There's something about this BBBF jacket that I like; I think it is the lapels in combination with the placket and those ugly pockets. But there is no way I can drop a grand on this jacket. Has anyone see something similar, or rather, could anyone recommend an alternative. Or you could just all say that jacket is ugly as home-made sin so that I can not worry about this anymore.

It's an ugly jacket. The lapels look awful on it, and ruin it. Without the lapels it would probably be a very nice jacket for fall.
