Its all leather (they have the same in python for much more). It has a print on it similar to their famous Damier print. The leather shoe shows the design more than the python shoe.

Retail prices: Leather: $860 Python: $1430

Description on the Leather:
Patent calf leather embossed with the historic Damier pattern
- Padded insock for enhanced comfort
- Blake construction: for immediate suppleness and comfort. Blake stitching crosses the entire structure of the shoe and is visible on the inside. The thread is embedded in the outsole, making it less vulnerable to wear and tear
- Heel covered with patent leather
- Leather sole

Description on the Python:This streamlined lace-up in exotic python skin is embossed with Louis Vuitton's iconic Damier pattern, creating a graphic and luxurious look for evening.

Pic of the leather. Was unable to find on a pic of the python, but its on the LV website.h

Thats very over priced, but I think they might looks interesting with a slim cut tuxedo as an alternative to an ordinary patent leather shoe.

If you're going for strange patent leather shoes, Burberry has a much better looking version (although it doesn't have a heel, which is why I don't own a pair)

I have a pair in python. I'll see if I can get a picture up.

Strange looking effect. I don't think there is anything at all flattering about them.

I like them. Not my style but if your into that sort of thing then get them. They are meant to be worn in a very trendy way (something styleforum knows nothing about). I say get them if you know how to wear them.
