Pic Heavy, sorry I forgot to add it in the thread title and I can't edit that anymore.

I picked up these two sport coats/blazers/orphaned suit jackets at a local thrift store. I'm still new to fashion and don't know the differences between those three terms yet, but I'm learning. Anyways, I just wanted to see what people on the forum think about the fit on these two pieces, a Loro Piana 30% cashmere and Christian Dior respectively. I'm looking to take them to the tailor in the near future and am seeking opinions on what to fix.

These can't be fixed.

The first one: The body is too short, the collar is too long.
The second one: the vent is in the middle, the collar is awful. it's too slim in the seat, it's been altered already for someone with no asd by taking in the back at the center seam, and the pants are missing.

Edit: you can alter the title by hitting 'Edit' and 'Advanced'.

Okay, I understand. Thanks for that. I just have a few questions though in order for me to train my eye to not make these mistakes in the future. What's wrong with the collar in particular? Is it the collar as pictured from the back? And is the seat the bottom at the back? What's an asd?

Asd is ass. My bad.

The collar in the second one is too long and too wide. You've got everything else.

The fabric is the give-away for the second one, too - if it looks like it could have been a suit then it probably was. Stay away.

Oh okay. I actually have no clue why I bought the suit jacket actually.

What do you recommend I should do? By the comments I guess I'm gonna go and return the second one. For the first one, is the piece good besides the fact that it just doesnt fit me? If so, would I be able to make anything out of it on eBay?

Eh, wear the first one out to bars. It's cashmere, right? Someone will like how it feels and before you know it you'll have a new lucky jacket.
