Silvano Sassetti was making the RLPL made in Italy shoes. I'm not sure about this fall's line?

Nice shoe, but the color and price don't do it for me. I'd prefer an oxblood or burgundy at half the price. Alden or Allen Edmunds are better deals IMO.

I dislike the shape of the quarters, and how the strap appears to sit on top of one. Looks a bit like bondage gear.

Add the heel counter to the mix, and the double buckles, and the toecap, and there's just too much going on for my tastes.
