There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Fiorello La Guardia was only 5ft, he was the top tier of NYC, and had an airport named after him.

    You are average height OP.

Don't worry about it. If it does bother you too much, move to India or South East Asia.

lol please, everybody is insecure about something. They may not outwardly show it, but its there somewhere.

I also wouldn't trust a fresh college graduate to decide who should lead anything.

It's not spam; he's been asking about what shoes to buy in other threads (AE, Ferragamo, etc.) without the link referenced here.

OP, congrats on your MBA. What school / what firm?

If it helps (as this appears to be a self-perception issue), I'm in consulting, and at 5'9" you'll be fine.

From a fashion standpoint, consulting is the world of Brooks Brother, non-iron business casual and square-toed Eccos.

If it's not spam, why would the OP use the phrase/spiel "It looks like high-end luxury shoes with built-in shoe lifts... seemingly similar high end quality like that of what the short celebrities wear." and repeat the same Bangkok "elevator shoes" URL in a later post? Also the OP as posted exactly the same URL into a new thread on AAAC. I called :spam: on there.

Possibly he posted into the other threads, both here and on AAAC, to avoid looking too suspicious.

I don't know, dude. He's also asking about suits and other wardrobe stuff in other threads - where he posts links to AE shoes, Brooks Brothers and Hugo Boss suits, etc. Good luck with your spam hunt.

Thank you... I mean elevator shoes from Thailand, that to me comes under the same category as Canadian pharmacies, offshore Viagra and penis enlargement pills.

Hi guys - To calm down any suspicions of spam sensitive and troll sensitive people, I have absolutely no affiliation with Don's Footwear.

My lessons learned are 1) never post a url and 2) never post a url where you may say something positive / say something about how they market it on the website

As I have no affiliation with Don's - I just want to say to NEVER buy shoes from them because nobody should where elevator shoes based on the responses on this forum.

    Cheers

I will not be pursuing elevator shoes, and will build my entire shoe collection on AE. Thanks for the input.

If you are real pretty already maybe you could go for gender reassignment therapy and then wear 6 inch stilletos.

Don't do it, I'm a lot shorter than you, and I am usually at the top level in the room at this point in my career. Be confident with who you are, wigs, elevator shoes, swing your hair are seen as weaknesses

I am 6'-0" in height and always wanted to be between 5-'2" to 5'-6". I am serious. The benefits of being in a comparatively smaller body outweigh the disadvantages.
Examples: 1) Live longer than tall people. 2) Lightweight build has more agility. 3) Look younger longer and as a result, get to date younger women longer without having to be rich. Smaller guys may have a rough time in childhood to asolecense but things do even out in adulthood. What is not to like about being on the smaller side?

Out of curiosity, how definitive is the science on point 1, and where are you coming from on point 3?

You didn't mention a major advantage of being tall: more attractive to girls.

Really? "'studies after studies"? Sounds like bunkum to me. Do any of these "studies" have any scientific, academic, or statistical validity? I'd be curious how many actually valid "studies" you've consulted. You're of average height. I would think being comfortable with your own self would be of far greater value that worrying that someone is taller than you are. It's something you can do for yourself, at no cost, and you'll never have to make embarassing explanations when a girlfriend or colleague notices the lifts in your shoes.
