Never heard of 'David Yurman'. But it seems like a lot of money for an ETA movement in a stainless steel case.

1. It is definitely a decent watch, but you can find a similar JLC watch in the same price range and get a premium manufacture movement, better design, and, most likely, much better resale value.
2. 43.5mm size is trendy, but could well be a dated look in a few short years (already looks stupid IMHO).

looks nice enough, but the price and size concern me.
The price is the starting range for a used watch in great condition from an actual watch manufacturer as opposed someone using a generic ETA movement
The size is too large, 43mm watches will eventually be too large again. I'd say 38-40 will be the largest that can still be classic watches and never look gaudy/trendy.

43.5mm is fine -- watches don't trend back and forth like tie widths, so a slightly bigger watch will be fine for years (it's not like it's some 50mm+ tank or anything).

As for the brand, it looks like a nice watch, but if you are in the market for a new watch I'd stick with a brand that primarily makes watches, as opposed to a jack-of-all-trades kind of place. You can probably get an equivalent watch for a little over $1,000, and if you are going above $3,000 look for something used on watchuseek.com.

I have two Yurman watches. Both are excellent. Obviously, he's not principally known as a master watchmaker, but the style is distinctive and consistent with his jewelry.

I wouldn't waste my money if i were you.
You can get a decent watch for $3,400, at least an Omega.

My GF has David Yurman jewelry and it seems to be just overpriced designer stuff where you're paying for the name. I imagine it would be the same with their watches.
