1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

They arrived yesterday (bought from Union Boot Pro $107; I understand that they are in cohorts with Weinbrenner directly, my order was in fact shipped direct from the factory)! After a scathing conversation with the UPS driver who wanted $45 brokerage for the boots (they were declared as $80 from Weinbrenner), I put on my new moc toes. The fit is pretty much perfect! I went for my Chippewa sizing which as almost identical to the Thorogood sizing, I'm sure these will break in nicely. In addition, the leather is softer and more buttery than the stuff Chippewa uses so I am guessing even less break in time. Yes I realized they changed the outsoles from Vibram Christy's to their proprietary MaxWear version which is supposed to outlast the Christy's by a lot.

Onto the pictures (just cell phone pics for now, batteries still charging):

Nice, mate! I just bought a set of plain toe heritage boots from Thorogood. Love it.

How are they holding up for you?
