Hey there,

Looking to add 1 or 2 more shoes dress shoes to my wardrobe, and am looking for a few suggestions...

Currently I own a pair of AE McLain's in Merlot

http://www.allenedmonds.com/mens/dre.../mcclain.shtml

and a (cheap) pair of captoe Oxfords that could stand replacing. I've polished them up and stuck some shoe trees in them, so they are passable - for now.

My main dress for work is wool slacks in the winter, cotton in the summer, with dress shirts.

What other style shoes would be good for a 3rd/4th pair? I was thinking brown bulchers, since I need a brown shoe. Any ideas for the fourth shoe?

Also, I am looking to wear a pair of the shoes with more casual pants or denim.

Any ideas would be helpful. AE has some good prices on their seconds/closeouts, so both of the shoes will probably come from there.

Thanks.

If AE is still running a sale, I would pick up a pair of cap toe oxfords, and maybe something in the chili color. I'm partial to the chili color, IMO it's very versatile.

Get a boot. Lace up, or chelseas.
