It doesn't look terrible. It looks like Thom Browne.

Why on Earth would anybody want the size label on the front of a freakin' sportcoat, though?! Weak.

I am inserting this as a point of reference so not everyone has to go to the Gilt sale to see what people are talking about. The enormous white tag at the bottom of the shirt reads: "Made in Italy, Size 2, Cotton, Machine Wash". You are right when you say these clothes are tacky, but you've overlooking something pivotal, which is that these ties are sick.

The model guy they have sporting the Thom Browne stuff is GROSSLY out of shape, for a model that is.

Is Gilt going broke that they can't hire someone more "model" like?
