Thom Browne labels: to remove or not to remove

Hello.

I've recently evolved into a devoted fan of Thom Browne, in particular his shirts (though I've also acquired a good number of ties and a great suit at Barneys for ~80% off). For the shirts and ties in particular, I haven't figured out if we're meant to unstitch and remove the big white TB labels, or if those are intended to conspicuously advertise our sartorial savvy.

Question for others: what do, or would, you do? Is it obnoxious to leave the label on if the shirt's worn untucked? What about the ties? And might I damage either by unstitching the tags?

Thanks for your thoughts.

i take the tags out of all of my clothing except my BB ocbd shirts, and thats only so i can return them if they start to wear out prematurely.
