He will soon be relegated to making OCBDs for the BB BF collection permanently.

Maybe, it is where a lot of young law firm associates end up moving to because they can no longer afford their Manhattan apartments after the partners find out that they spend time on the interwebz.[IMG]

Please, don't even joke about that!

I dont get why people have such hatred for TB (and even TF as other threads have proved). If you dont like the clothing, dont fucking buy it.

That's the problem right there. Clearly too few like and buy.

    Sorry.

but while you may have to hurry you have experience that will be useful here:

He will soon be relegated to making OCBDs for the BB BF collection permanently.

I appreciate Thom's twist on the mid-century American uniform. He's helped "bring back" the trad/preppy/classics: gray suits, button downs, narrow repp ties, wingtips, etc.

But since these aren't really new or proprietary things, they can live on without the TB label just fine. I do hope BB still makes those BF shirts though.

    Fixed.

The bottom line is that this is a clothing forum and people express their opinion about clothing likes and dislikes. Thats what its about. Get used to it.

I hope he makes it. He is talented and has had major impact on style.

I understand that no one will buy those clothes in any serious quantity however.

These are actually well known names in that genre of clothing.

What genre is that? I am typically very well informed as it pertains to menswear... so that is why i was suprised at my lack of familiarity with Steven Alan.

When I saw pictures of the shirts made for Uniqlo... they seem to be going for the Band of Outsiders look.

Uh... because it's a forum to discuss the merits and faults of clothing.

BTW, why are you hating on Flusser? If you don't like him, don't "fucking buy" his clothing, no?

Thom Browne doesnt need investors, Thom Browne needs diversity.
Thom Browne doesnt need money, Thom Browne needs ideas.

Eric Glennie can take you to the promise land Mr. Browne. One phone call and I will book my plane tickets.

Dont sell out my friend. Dont sell out.
You will lose your MOJO through beaucratic peanut counters and CEO's who lack vision.

Restructure your business plan and look outside short pants and small jackets for new ideas

WE ALL NEED TO REINVENT OURSELVES IN THESE TIMES!!
