Nice. I like the look of the 4800 last. Do they have many on that last in the Madison Ave. store?

Fantastic as always. I pronounce the JL Sandon and the EG/PL Grant as my personal winners for the week.

Thanks as always for the kind words guys, I do appreciate it. I will try to accomodate with a family portarit of the entire collection but I need to find a time that my three year old is engaged outside of the house or it will impossible.

Bill, I try not to count as it provide empirical evidence of my condition.

Matt, the 4800 last is a rare breed. The Sandon came from the London JL Store as a quasi-special order and the Chelmer came via a European seller on Ebay. NY JL does not have any 4800 last models in stock.

I think they're starting to get here. There were several 4800 models at BG this weekend, both on shelves and on the trunk show table. I personally immediately felt a strong dislike for the last when seen at BG. I thought it was not Lobb material.

Thanks Foxx, much appreciated. I have seen a C&J Chelsea version but never an EG model for RLPL. But there always is the EG Newmarket.

Are the lobbs on the far right the ones that were discussed on the sales forum recently?
