1. I'd like to announce that animated avatars are now available again. You'll have to reload, but they are once more possible.

We've been doing a ton of work behind the scenes. The site load speed was already under 1/2 of what Huddler's was, on average, and we installed cloudflare, which means that the site should be even faster. A ton more will go on in the weeks and months to come, and some things will be more visibile, and some less.

    Cheers,

    Fok.

. . . and my family is convinced I have some peculiar illness because I own over 30 pairs. [IMG]

When will you break down and employ a full time shoe shine boy? I think Edward Green is afraid you might poach the one outside their store.

I'm thinking something along the lines of Bart Simpson when he spoke with a cockney accent...Shine ya boots 'guv?

It's nice to see some 'real life' photos of the Vass U last. Those look amazing, I really like the medallioned wholecut and the london derby. IMO, the stars of your intense collection.

Beautiful shoes. I can't imagine how you store all 300 pairs it seems you own! I took out most of mine this weekend (12 pairs) and polished them while watching the giants game, and I wasn't sure how I would get them all back in my closet. [IMG]

Great shoes as always, Andrew. Are the EGs from the trunk show, the sale, or elsewhere?

AC...The Beaulieu and Inverness come via LeatherSole in Hawaii. I'll reiterate how much I like Tom Park, the owner, he's the best! The Grant coems from the Mansion and were make goods for my February trunk show order that I never got.

Come clean Aportnoy: How many EG do you own? How many of those have been worn out of doors? How many have been worn more than 5 times?

I just imagine some enormous closet with rows of EG's, all looking like a museum collection.

(I'm clearly jealous. I have one pair of EG, and can't wait for the next sale to pick up a 2nd).

I can't sat that I've counted recently. Many have not yet been worn but you would be suprised how many actaully have seen the light of day and the pavements of NYC.

Nice - very impressive! Be honest though - are you EGs biggest customer (even bigger than RL?) I bet they invite you to the company Christmas party every year.

Funny you mention that. I haven't heard a word form EG folks. My main sources for the shoes are LeatherSole, Hawaii, Saks, NYC, RL Mansion and the EG shop in London. All the retailers have been great, but EG themselves, not a peep.

I'm waiting for the mother of all shoe porn pictures: All of your shoes laid out in a room with a wide angle photo. OK - maybe just your entire EG collection. [IMG]
