Looks like Brioni could learn a thing or two about hangers from Oxxford.

Is that a good deal? I am reluctant to get another 3 button since it is going out of style.

Don't worry so much about style or fashion. If you like three button suits and can make them work, go ahead and get it. Personally I've since found that I look better in two buttons or very low and close three buttons since I'm tall and thin.

I got stuck with a marvelous collection of double-vented suits in the late '80s and no-vent 2 buttons in the late '90s. And now I am starting to avoid my DB and no-vent 3 buttons. Yes, I prefer to be in style. Sorry, must be unique in that regard.

I meant what's in style or fashion. I'm pretty sure a three button Brioni will last someone a long time regardless of what everyone else is wearing. On your same train of thought, I'll be laughing at you when you're sporting two ties at once nine years from now because it's "in style." Anyways, I say go for it. He's saying mint condition, not new with tags, so it's probably safe. New with tags is shady when the buttonholes on the sleeve and the trouser hem is already done.

Style is for the most part timeless. You should buy suits for a mirade of reasons:
1. Your body
2. the event
3. the weather and season
4. your personal preferences
5. your complexion
and other considerations more detailed in each the above

Fashion is fleeting and usually an expensive losing battle, something GQ,Esquire catalogues definitly want you to play for their advertising, marginal quality, high marketed fashion brands.

Brioni has a few different cuts, but their classic cut is timeless assuming you have the physical characteristics that 'fit' it so to speak.

Like the middle-aged Marty McFly in "Back to the Future 2?"

Once I saw this old guy wearing a really really dated one button suit. But it was really well maintained. The suit fitted him to a perfection and he looked really really good in it.
