i am in college and every one of my friends has the seven for all mankind dark new york bootcut and they look good on them and fit them well. for instance, the length on their jeans is just about right and the bootcut doesn't look extreme when they wear them. then you have me. i can never find a length that is appropriate in that jean and the bootcut looks like a huge flair for me. is something wrong with me or am i doing something wrong? i am slender, 5' 11 and 130 lbs, so i wear the size 28 and that isn't so much long as just very flared. i don't know what the deal is. can anyone help me explain why the bootcut seems so pronounced to me and not so with the others?

Maybe because the appropriate leg opening is smaller for you because you have thinner legs?

^your leg is probably much thinner. if you have larger thighs a bootcut wont look nearly as pronounced as if you have skinny legs. get a subtler bootcut or a straight or slim cut.

and just dont wear sevens.

my guess... and i know nothing about sevens... is that the leg opening is the same thru most of the sizes. since youre wearing a 28, and i bet they have bigger sizes, your flare IS more pronounced.

just a guess... not even an educated one.

if all of your friends have 7's, maybe you should branch out a bit.
you'd be like a perfumed handkerchief in a field of ****.
