Thinking of changing S4 order color... maybe Meteor Gray???

Finally placed my order for an S4 a few weeks ago and I am having second thoughts on the color, went with sprint blue. It was kind of a snap decision but after seeing more of it and speaking with friends, family, etc. I am having 2nd thoughts.

One big reason is that I will be trading it in for an upgrade in 3 years and the salespeople I have spoken with said Imola Yellow and Sprint Blue will def. kill the trade in value (apparently these are hard to sell? thought it would be the other way around).

Anyway leaning toward a switch but not sure to what. I like the Meteor Gray, Phantom Black, Quartz Gray or Deep Sea Blue.

here are some of the colors:

I am waiting on my A3 order which was placed in Meteor Gray with light gray interior. We did not have the Phantom Black as an option in the A3 but I do like that color and would have seriously thought about it. The biggest selling point for Meteor Gray was the pearl effect without being too over the top.

I went and saw a Meteor Gray S4 a few days ago and it looked kind of flat to me, kind of blah, but it was a very overcast/cloudy day. I was told it has more pop and changes quite a bit when sunny out.

My main issue with the silver(s) [ice metallic and quartz gray] are that the silver S4 accents dont stand out at all...

Meteor is a little boring IMO. I have Daytona Gray and love it, but it's not available on the S4. I know Imola can kill resale value, but I have never heard the same about Sprint. When i ordered my car I thought Sprint would be too much, so I played it safe with gray. The more I see sprint the more I like it (particularly with dark Ti accents). Here are some Sprint Blue pics I have taken:

Sprint Blue seems like a not-quite-as-cool version of Nogaro Blue. Which was pretty much the best color ever. I say go for it.

I've had an Audi salesperson tell me the same and, FWIW, the very few used S4's I see around here tend to be blue or yellow and hang around for a while.

The Deep Sea blue metallic is gorgeous under the sunlight. But if you're worried about resale I'd probably go black.

Sprint is kind of like a pearlized Nogaro. Both are awesome, though Nogaro has a cult-like following.

I couldnt really tell the diff. between Sprint and Nogaro in online pictures....

As for the deep sea blue, I like it but it doesnt seem like it belongs on an S4 to me, it seems very 'company car'-ish like it belongs on an A6 or something like that. I do like how the silver accents play off it tho.

As for the Ti package, not a big fan, I hate the rims that come with it, and the only colors it looks good with are imola or sprint/ imo

I agree- I had an A5 in that color on order but cancelled. I like it on the 4's and 5's but that and the grays don't have the oomph that black and the loud colors do on an S.

I would go with Daytona or Deep sea, they both look amazing especially with saddle / butterscotch leather

Daytona is not an option (unless its avail. as a $2500 special order and adds a month to the build) and neither is saddle/butterscotch leather.
