Use the search function.  The brand has been discussed seveal times.  The mainline stuff is quite decent and is at least half canvassed (facings are fused, I believe), the Pull line, on the other hand is completely fused, not poorly so, but hardly state of the art, and without any unique styling to pull it off, unlike, say, Armani.  (Armani haters begone.  You might not like his stuff, but an Armani is unmistakeably an Armani).  On sale, a Pal Zileri at Saks Off 5th can be had for a good deal, not great, but good.

The Sartoriale line is very nice. Very luxe cloths and more timeless styling than the white label. I like many of the Sartoriale patterns and color combinations.

I believe Pal Zileri has discontinued its Pull line. Personally I like the cut of some Pal Zileri suit, they are great if you have an athletic build. The materials that Pal Zileri uses on its suits are just mediocre though, mostly are of Super 100s to Super 120s varieties.

Sartoriale line is quite expensive, but if you can get a good discount, you can take a look at its sport cloth. LIke bry2000 said, they have some interesting pattern and colour combo.

The fabric sample he sent me was quite interesting in its pattern/texture and was a beautiful dark brown/chocolate. He quoted me 895 British pounds so it may be the sartoriale line. I guess it better be at that price.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
