1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

So, a friend I've known since High school works on a private train as a chef. I'm told by reliable friends that he's excellent at it, and I have no reason to doubt this.

That said, he also posts a lot of math/science - related stuff, and I don't recall him being at all interested in the field. I was the big math/science junkie back then and we had zero common ground on that front. He claims a degree from our alma mater that I didn't know they offered (biophysics, ?). So yesterday he posts about this argument he got into and posted about how negative numbers can have positive square roots, and how he learned that in 8th grade, and I thought - oh, Jav. Do I post, or no? I mean, he had it totally backwards.

Then I remembered, he's a rake and a total BS-er. We get along great and he's good people, but still spins a line of BS like nobody's business. Funny how I forgot these things.

From a guy who went to my high school and i think is on his 3rd college in 5yrs or so with no degree yet:

"There should be a lower grading scale for classes with teachers who English is a second language"

I replied: "It seems your English needs a little work as well..."

Maybe you wouldn't mind so much if you went on a fun holiday every now and then.

^ was curious where you've been hanging Rouse.

I'll take all three as well. BTW my Crossfitter Cousin-in-law does not resemble any of those three.

Oh, and her (younger) sister, I think she's a lesbian. She just posted a few pics that made me start wondering. NTTAWWT

Nope, this season is a very short schedule while I try to get through the CPA exams. Once I get through, then training begins in earnest. Probably down for the 2013 SA, if it's in autumn. And every time I tell myself I'm going to SA, something fuxxors up my schedule.

    ...

BTW, I like all of my FB friends, they're all reasonable and decent people (even in disagreement), as far as they let on. But there's this one thing where a number of them will post the same pictures of abandoned / abused animals and decry the inhumanity...but as far as I can tell NONE OF THEM HAVE TAKEN IN ANY ANIMALS LIKE THIS. Well, Jen might, she's a pretty fierce advocate, but the rest of these people live their lives, day-to-day, see the abuse, post about it and how awful it is, and then check the task off their do-list. Whelp, that's my Good Deed for the day: I posted an abused animal story on FB.

Excuse me for not patting you on the back, my FB do-gooder friends. Adopt a stray or two and then get back to me. Don't tell me you can't, I've got four myself. Put up or shut up.

I'd rather post about abused animals everyday then actually adopt one. Would be too much work to care for one. Besides....awareness!

Why would they show five bottles of bottle, when it's not contributing to any of the categories?

Who the fuck wants to eat only fruits and veggies? I'd rather have one whopper and some rabbit food (cut out the fries and drink) over eating only rabbit food. Besides that picture of the salad looks like it has grilled chicken on it. Some vegetarian that person is.
