1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

I know of a group of thugs that have a private room on Facebook. They are idiots and they don't really talk nice about me.

heh, when I was in my 20's the idea of seeing everyone walk around naked was kind of appealing. Now that I'm in my 40's the idea is becoming quite revolting.

I read that. It was overseen by Clarke but actually written by others. Not his best work.

The last verb on the God side seems out of keeping with the rest. Unless she means it in an obsolete sense of the term. But probably she does not.

I think they mean "fills you with a sense of conviction". I agree that it sounds kind of archaic, but so does believing in god!

I am hereby revoking your license to use the avatar I made for you. You must now revert to using your older, shittier avatar of Shay Maria.

Taguttian in style, perhaps, but most definitely not in content. Patriarchy doesn't need to tell me I can only be attracted by certain qualities, I know I can only be attracted by certain qualities,— viz. bewbs.

But yes, I can get rather turgid (in both senses of the word) when I'm making a Serious Point. In fact, I've noticed, when my writing gets all serious and imposing and shit, that I stop using contractions and start talking like a character from "Emanuelle: In Space!"

I really don't know. You just got to loosen up, man. Life's too short to be writing every post as if your old high school English teacher is looking over your shoulder and you need at least a "B" or she'll fail you.

In this culture of Steve Jobs worship, would it kill anyone to acknowledge my ironic, contrarian idolization of John Sculley?
