When Ryobi first came onto the tool scene they were cheap crap. I don't know if they've improved but I wouldn't own any of their junk.

I have mostly porter cable stuff for the past 10 years or so. I love it.

I also have a few Milwaukee, but I will probably go DeWalt when I want to upgrade everything. So far though, all of my 20vilt batteries are still holding on! No need to get rid of anything that works
