In a moment of absentmindedness I inadvertently deleted my primary instagram account instead of my secondary account. Any idea on how to contact customer service? I've emailed some generic support account but those direct me to review their help pages which are helpful in deleting but not restoring accounts.

Just found out today my account was restored. Of course, I did not get any email update - on a whim I tried logging into the account after giving up for a few weeks. Bizarre that such a large company would have such a confusing approach to restoring accounts. Mind you Facebook is quite straightforward in explaining how much time you have to reverse a request to delete your account, so not sure why Instagram would copy their measures.
