1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

I don't get Moo's schtick. I feel like he is super lame in real life.

The bartenders and batendresses already have my cards and pass them out as they see fit. I tip them well to ensure so.

I've never understood Moo either. I never jumped on that bandwagon.

So you're Saul Goodman/Jimmy McGill, except you trawl for clients at bars instead of old people's homes. Sounds like a great process improvement

Dan Fielding was my personal inspiration, but pretty much the same thing, yes.

I don't get "endorsements" on linked in.

I understand how they are supposed to work, but most of the endorsements are from people who have absolutely no basis for doing so.

In fact...*all* of my endorsements are from people I have had no professional contact from. Most recently, I accepted a connection request from a relative who is an acupuncturist and (former?) cartographer. She then proceeded to endorse me for 5 things which I don't think I have ever spoken to her about. What is weird is that I have at least one skill related to cartography listed...couldn't she have at least endorsed me for that?

I tried to endorse you for "posts" but the stupid LinkedIn system wouldn't let me.

I agree - the system doesn't work. I regularly get endorsed for IT related skills despite not being in IT, and it is always by people who know nothing about the topics. I wish they would at least endorse me for something I care about.

I tried to "disendorse" you for saying soda but the stupid LinkedIn system wouldn't let me.

Nevermind, I support the system now. Speakers of pop shouldn't be able to do such things.
