Years ago I went to see Weezer. A guy named Dashboard Confessional opened. It was gay, but besides that there were these young teeny-boppers in front of me standing screaming and carrying on for this Dashboard guy. The guy next to me poked them and was like, "If I buy you both beers will you sit down and shut the **** up?" They did, with beers in hand. It was awesome.

yeah that IS awesome! that guy had it spot on :nodding:

I didn't realize singing along at a concert was such a crime.

I see people do it all the time; hell, I tend to sing along. I've never even considered that it could be an annoyance, and I get annoyed by just about everything. I mean, it's drowned out by the amplified music coming from the stage, anyway. Do you guys really attend concerts that are so quiet that you can't hear the band over a fan's singing?

Well, now you know it is a crime and you'll remember not to make a social concert mistake ever again.

I sing loudest at classical concerts! I also start mosh pits at the opera.

Seriously, though, I was talking more about popular music. There are certainly types of concerts where it's not appropriate, but, other than yours, it seems that all of the references in this thread were to shows where I'd think singing along would be the norm.

Unlikely. I'm sorry if someone gets upset when I sing along with "Zip City" at a DBT show, but it's not my fault they're too uptight to rock out at the rock show.

I don't get that whenever girls hear a song they like they have to dance to it. Be still women.

No dancing, either?

You guys actually enjoy music, right? It sounds like you attend all of your concerts at a Baptist church, for crying out loud. Can the women wear makeup?

The Health & Body subforum. Every so often I stumble in there by accident.

I tap my foot to music. Actually I play music too. I find music too cerebral to move to it while focusing on listening. But seriously, girls cannot contain themselves.

why OTHER people can mix the same number of patterns and it looks fine, yet I can't.

Also, everything else.
