I pick up my shopping basket on entering the store and choose my desired products as I follow their carefully researched lay-out. On completing my trip I leave the basket at a place of my choosing and elect to leave.

I have merely rearranged their lay-out to one of my choosing.

I return and much to my chagrin...

H&M.

They opened one up in a mall in Spokane so I visited this past weekend. Reminded me of a thrift store in the sense that clothing was randomly placed throughout the store in no particular order. Nothing in particular caught my eye.

that's how the dover street market in london supposedly operates. just random high end clothing mixed everywhere. they say its kinda fun to just browse and randomly come across something really nice. also probably a lot easier for the SAs

Deliberate product befuddlement is common; go in for a white T-Shirt and discover seven types of leather pants and a tiger-themed boot-and-jockstrap arrangement.

I always get confused when watching nba highlights on St Patricks day because of the green uniforms. I'm like, how many games are the celtics playing today?!

Has anyone noticed people saying, "Heighth" these days? I've heard it several times in the last few months and I just do not understand where the digraph comes from.

Also, people have lost the ability to make the "ar" sound. For example, I hear people say "mawrkers" when they mean "markers."

I think it comes from people assuming that height is a dimension, as are length and width, and that no dimension should be so uppity as to think it deserves a different final sound than the others.

I haven't heard anyone same "timeth" (one syllable) yet so am not sure why this dimension deserves special consideration.

How about polar coordinates? We've got some Cartesian-privilege here.

How cute, North Americans complaining about pronunciation.
