How could someone feel comfortable wearing double monks in the Oval Office.
When you're staff in a place like that, attire-wise it's just another day at the office. Dress code is just coat and tie, you don't need to be ultra conservative in your attire. When people come from outside to meet with you, they're going to be dressed formally every time. But you don't have to be.

The mourning of celebrities.

I register zero emotional impact when some rich guy from a movie kicks the bucket. In fact, if anything, it trends a bit more towards annoyance when it is of their own making.

To be fair, he was hugely talented...

I do not get the talentless obsession without Z list people such the Kardashians tribe for example..

I don't dispute he was talented. Even more reason it's a shameful waste for him to have done what he did.

It is a bit of a waste especially after reading his long struggle with addiction...

Why people are still taking heroin is a mystery to me...

It isn't that there is zero emotion, its more man that sucks. What swings the pendulum back the other way is the way people carry on about the passing. People pretend as if the death has some affect on their day to day lives... like they lost someone close to them. That's when I get annoyed and pissed off.

When Diana died ,the all country stopped and plunged into despair...

It was very weird to observe that global mourning turning into despair coming from a different country where luckily celebrities are not idolised on the same level...

People are strange..

I understand the Diana grief - she was one of the country's icons (leaders?) and she represented an ideal that a lot of people identified with.

Regarding US celebrities, I think we have an unhealthy obsession and some kind of transference effect with celebrities. The gossip shows here are vaguely discomfiting at best and downright creepy at worst. (They're just like us!!! Well of course they're just like us, they're ******* people with a high paying job!)

Ain't nothing feels better than opiates. If you've got an addictive streak, it's pretty hard to forget that kind of high.
