1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Maybe he's trying to cut back on the calories so he can keep looking good in his RTW pants.

True. I pretty much survive on wine, gin, beef, pork, and Brussels sprouts.

People who wear sneakers to work and then change them once they get to the office. WTF is the deal here? Are you that shitty at buying comfortable work appropriate shoes that you have to lug around an extra pair just to make ends meet?

It's because their feet are ruined from their parents buying them shitty shoes growing up and need a plush environment.

my parents bought me shitty shoes growing up. Further, a good chunk of time was spent in either soccer cleats or hockey skates. I see NO utility behind the sneakers to work maneuver.

What about the yuppies who wear GQ fit suits with New Balance sneakers and you know they don't change them when they get to work. Usually heading towards the Flatiron District. Fuck those people.

    Meh. Especially for women.

"Properly made dress shoes are just as comfortable to walk miles in as sneakers" is one of SF's dumbest "rules."

meh, i think it's kind of true. My one exception may be my RL Cordos, which are still as stiff as fuck. I have 2 pairs of Adidas (some Gazelle's and some Top Salas), and neither are comfy after 2 hours on your feet.

and, yes, my post was aimed only at the women of the office.
