1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

All mainstream comedy is consumed not because the quality is high but the consistency is high. You can turn it on night after night, knowing that every 20-40 seconds there is a minor joke and you can passively consume it.

The reason it works so well (for its purpose, not as genuine comedy) is that it is light-hearted, predictable and un-taxing.

The same thing happens with music, you put on the Beatles because you want some audio beige, not because you're desperate to rock out like its 1967 again.

For anything to become truly a mainstream phenomena it must be interesting enough to have an "identity" and reduce the "I'm just not in the mood for it" factor as close to zero as possible.

Women drive less than men, so by virtue of being on the road more men are more likely to be in an accident. Women are terrible drivers mile per mile, even Mythbusters proved this.

That Tim Allen as a handyman show ran for like sixty years. There's no accounting for bad taste.

90% of people consider themselves to be good drivers. Either driving is really easy or some people are lying.

Of a sudden I've seen a bunch of posts on Facebook (all by women) be like "Betimes I am mean and hurtful in my relations with others but my real friends stick by me irregardless." How do people formulate that thought and not realize immediately how absurd it is?

Maybe I will try to make an image with text that reads "Betimes I am mean and hurtful in my relations with others. That is bad and I should stop doing it."

When people think of the great beauties of our time, they usually don't think of Renee Zellweger. I don't understand why.

So I was seeing this cougar there for a few weeks; however, I did not know her age until maybe a week ago. She's 36, and I thought she was 23... This isn't really the problem--the problem is that she acts like she is 18, and now I don't think I can "get it up". Furthermore, I don't think she has real friends, only fake friends, and to top shit off, she asked me if I could pick up light bulbs for her. Fuck that--I ain't picking up no God damn light bulbs!

ED can be devastating at your age. You should really speak to a doctor. They make pills that can help with that.

Nope, not Neo. Met this girl at some masquerade party; needless to say, not a very memorable girl, and I can't afford to buy anybody light bulbs except for myself--I am, after all, only a tired and weary longshoreman.

Can you still buy incandescents? I'd buy a bitch an incandescent. But a florescent or LED is right out. Until she goes down on the D she ain't gettin' no LED.
