This is something I don't get. Why do people insist on reading every damn book by Steven King or any other particular dime store suspense writer that cranks out 3 mediocre to lousy books every year? There's so much good stuff out there, why not broaden the world of what you read? I see people who have piles of generic murder mysteries, with one author recycling 3 different plots 20 times each. Do people really find that worthwhile? Why not work your way through the literary canon instead, reading the 1,000 greatest books ever written? Why not pick up some serious nonfiction? Pop psychology? I guess I just don't get why you would waste reading time on reading yet another Steven King book.
