1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Fuck, I wish. I am a real live heterosexual, but I'd be tempted in his case. I mean that's not cheating either, right? Girlfriend's brother?

I can't stop thinking about Tony. Wondering where he could be, who he is with, what he is thinking, is he thinking of me, and whether he'll ever return someday?

And I don't think anyone ever argued for such. However, I don't think that refusing to acknowledge such ridiculousness qualifies as either mockery or condescension; but the PC police will treat it as such.

And, therein lies the answer: the premise is the problem. Alas, the horse is so far out the gate that returning to sanity appears impossible; madness, is indeed, not far around the bend...

However some of the premise is a genuine problem, it's has gone too far if I have to call myself "cis" for every other sentence I speak, but it wouldn't be right if I pretend transgender doesn't exit either.

America has too much PC going on, Asia (where I am from) has too little PC going on. My fellow countryman says a lot things and consider themselves objective rather than just being insensitive and/or over generalizing. I am sure we will never find a everybody happy medium, but to say all is there or none is there are equally false in all cases.

I never said they don't exist, my qualms are whether others are forced to accommodate their behavior and, if so, why are accommodations for theirs any more valid than some yahoo saying they "I feel like a [pick your pop confusion of the moment]"?

The 90s had some real barkers. MMMBop, Barbie Girl, Macarena, Achy Breaky Heart...

All of those are terrible but honestly I would put the three I mentioned as worse than any of those. Also, anything by the Cranberries, especially "Zombie".

Probably because it's not really their choice to be woman's mind in man's body or vice versa?

There's just something particular about early 90s alt-rock awfulness, where everyone was trying to be so existential and darkly whimsical that they end up writing a bunch of baby talk and presenting it like it's T.S. Eliot. At its best it could still be good, but when people did it badly it was just insufferable.

"Inside Out" by Eve 6 might actually be worse than any of these, although it actually ventures into so bad it's good with some of it's lyrics. "wanna put my tender/ heart in a blender"
