Things I don't get.... I don't really think I'm very catholic... I haven't been to church regularly in decades (I'll go when with cousins or friends... its like riding a bike)...

But when I get a new car/bike/house/something significant/ect... I'm knocking on the church's door with an envelope of money to have a priest bless my shit.

When I got my car last year... I got a flat on a major highway on the 2nd day... then again later that week. I was reminded that I didn't bless that machine with the holy hands of a priest and an envelope of money yet. After the said transaction... its been all good. Me being a cheap bastard... I threw in my wife's and my computers, both bicycles into the new station wagon before the blessing... and snuck into my conversation "yeah can you bless whats in the car too?" the Polish Priest was not amused.

I don't understand how busy people who are married or who have live-in SOs manage both to get their work done and maintain healthy relationships. Now that the semester has started again, I'm working pretty consistently from morning until around 9 or 10 pm, and I'm still not getting everything done that I want to. It's been a long time since I've had a live-in SO, so maybe I'm just forgetting how to do it. But from my current position, it's hard to see how it could be done. And yet I know that lots of people do it.

I suspect that they're driving at their normal speed and you're just going slower. I know my driving doesn't change much when it rains, but I drive a subaru forester, and that sucker sticks to the road in all conditions. Well, almost all. It drifted a little when I was driving in a whiteout. And I definitely notice that traffic slows down.

I mostly notice it, when I'm on foot and it seems that less people stop at crosswalks etc. when it rains.

Yeah, uh, you really shouldn't do that. Your Subaru doesn't change the design of the road (or your tires), nor does it increase visibility for anyone. I don't doubt that you're better off than other cars on the road, but that doesn't mean you can safely drive the same as you do when it's dry.

All men are sexual deviants. You just notice this group because they're bald.

I'm not sure. I'm not sure what happened, and I'm definitely not sure how to explain it.

    She's single now.

Oh no! I obviously don't know what's going on, but I hope things turn out okay.

Yeah, probably not with me involved. I'm just gonna stop talking.
