No excuse for bowls Fang if you're not a white over 65 boring prat.

Petanque is OK because it's non pretentious ,alcohol fuelled and a good excuse to get out of the house in the summer.

Bowls might be boring but it isn't pretentious, certainly not in Australia.

To be fair, I like watching the old boys and girls all in white playing bowls...

It is like a throw back to the mid fifties of Old England..

As charming as it is , it is still shite..

    My girlfriend loves them.

I have never been into German beers. I don't understand them really. To me they mostly taste like piss water. I love Scottish and English Ales. I do like the American hop heavy IPA's, but the English cask ales (if you can find a pub that has them) are the best. I used to be really into beer, but I rarely touch the stuff anymore. Moved on to bigger better things, ie. wine.

maybe you havent tried good pilsners yet. but yeah they're more watery than most styles. german beers have such a range of styles tho. i find it hard to believe you dislike all of them

i went the other way. started with wine then went to beer due to budget constraints.

also. can we trade GFs (10)

No one has tried all German beers and there is some many good ones.

Brazilian and beer on the other hand taste like piss.

I don't get why the foam on peroni beer, has to taste like an old gymbag smells.

peroni is italian budweiser. also if you smell something like skunk it's probably been stored improperly but it's more prolly cuz the bottle is green

Every Peroni I have ever had, has had that terrible foam, the only thing that solves the problem is drinking it from the bottle. :)

I have had some decent pilsners. I am a person of real habitual behavior though. I find something that I like and I stick to it. Keeps the mind free to think other thoughts.
