Hello everyone,
I will be going to New Orleans next March (around 23-27) for a conference (Anxiety Disorders Association of America). I really look forward to it, but after the flight and the hotel (200$ a night if I am not mistaken), it gets pretty heavy on the wallet.
I am thinking of going a few days early or staying a few days after the conference to have some fun. Sounds contradictory since I just said it will be hard on the wallet, but the way I look at it, I will already be there and the flight is already paid for!
I am currently booked in at the New Orleans Marriott (555 Canal St.). That is where the conference is being held but I am open to staying somewhere else in close walking distance, and anywhere before the conference or afterwards.
If anyone has any tips or ideas that would be greatly appreciated. If you need someone to house sit your condo right next to the aforementioned hotel, that is cool too! Haha! I also looked for hostels and nothing really came up...
Cheers,
Mike
