    I'm down four pounds from 1/1. I might have had a pound or two more on as I didn't weigh myself for a few days after my two week long bacchanalia.

    nothing really. as soon as i lose any i fall off the wagon again. but i have pretty much stopped drinking all the high calorie drinks, i think im just swapping them for other shitty food. i need to adopt a real strategy and stick with it.

    ^please.

    you eat extra large pizzas, fried chicken, burgers, and a pint of ben and jerry's or haagen daaz everyday for a month and then come back and tell me you aren't fat

    drink some quality coffee and tea. you can also structure your diet so that you dont eat at certain times of the day and gorge yourself other times. it might be easier.

    my one big vice is beer. i'm trying to drink only on the weekends. it's pretty tough

    @indesertum - thanks bro

    its not like anything, thats the problem. i eat a yogurt, veggies, fruit and a sandwich almost daily. then i get home and eat whatever dinner my wife makes. in between however, i eat all kinds of dumb shit. cake, cookies, candy....and i just shrug it off. also i might eat a 2nd dinner late at night. all kinds of things like that. basically no restraint. i need to pick a set diet/amount of food to eat and stick with it.

    WOW! She must have really steady hands to be able to brush her teeth and play altar boy with you. Does she make a convincing priest?

    Best of luck to you.

    On the physical side myself, this shoulder impingement I've had for months seems to finally be resolving. Hurts like hell when it pinches but finally on the mend due to some stretching I've been doing. Also, body is happy to be back in weight loss/carb deprivation mode. Good energy, stomach feels great, a few pounds off already. I just might hit and maintain 205 this year but will happily settle for maintaining 210.

    Thanks! awesome that your shoulder's working itself out.

    I forgot to mention: My last grade posted Friday, and today I go retrieve my transcript and submit it to the state board. Should get cleared to sit the exams at that point.
