Having 11 days off in a row is a real treat. I haven't even thought about the office since last Thursday. Just so refreshing.

Me: Why hello there, Mr Fridge. How are you?

Fridge: I quite fine. Can I offer you another beer?

Me: What a splendid suggestion. Thank you, kind sir! Any idea what Mr. Blu-Ray Player has in store for this evening?

Fridge: I'm not sure. You'll have to ask him.

Me: Thanks anyways, and thanks for that beer, you always have to good stuff in stock (Breckenridge Brewing Christmas Ale). Oh, Mr. Blu-Ray Player, what do you have in store for this evening?

Blu-Ray Player: Well since you asked, I'm happy to inform you that the best Christmas movie of all time is playing, Die Hard.

Me: That's excellent news! Looks like I've got my evening all planned out.

^^ lulz, awesome story, now that is also making me happy ^^

just had an end of the day customer, who not only was nice and made a decent purchase that saved the day, but most importantly she was here with her kids and acted kind and lovingly towards them. most of my customers treat their kids like shit and with great disdain. its refreshing to see someone who cares about their kids.

    post-workout high.

also, after driving around boston and getting infuriatingly frustrated at the incessant number of red lights every 10 feet and ridiculously lacking availability of street parking spots on a thursday afternoon, i am super fucking excited to move to DALLASS.

To be fair, if you were a certain age, at a certain time, this song was totally played out. Think Nickelback's first hit and you'll understand how it could become puke inducing.

nickleback has more than one song?

I thought they were just a jam band that has literally been playing the same song non-stop for years

I referred to a contemptible damsel as a 'two-bit whore' in an email. That really hit the spot.

Bobwait1 definitely has some interesting thoughts. Good thing the internet is there for him to broadcast them.

Anybody else surprised that Pio even knows who Nickleback is? For some reason I just imagined him engaging in conversations where a never ending debate rages on as to who had the better body of work: Mahler or Debussy.

real talk: I have no idea if that would be any sort of real debate.
