    New opportunity?

    Same area and business?

Yeah, I've only been working in Boston for about 5-6 months now, but I've been here for 5 years due to college. I'm relocating to Dallas.

Same area and business, but my work model will be switching to 75% travel. I'll be on the road Mon-Thurs and flying back home Fridays. It's going to be exhausting and tough but there's a lower cost of living in Dallas, no state income tax, and my meals and expenses will be comped. Most importantly, though, is that I'm going to gain much more visibility to senior leadership and the actual boss/head of our group approached me, shook my hand, and said he really appreciated my going out there. His boss told him to get his people to Dallas and very few people volunteered. I'm the only Analyst going so this will help differentiate myself from everyone else. It should also be a better biz school story/essay.

Overall, I'm stoked. Ready for some change in my life :)

Oh, and the women in Dallas are SMOKING HOT. It's absolutely ridiculous.

Went to run some errands. Craziness everywhere, drivers so frantic and wound up, shoppers all bitchy and over tense...horrible.

So, finished our errands and decided to stop for lunch for the second week in a row at one of our usual night time hang outs. They were selling gift cards, with the more you buy, the bigger the discount. Bought 10 $100 cards for $750. I'll use a couple of those for donations to charity auctions, so take the full face value off my taxes. :slayer:

Also, had a very relaxing lunch and several drinks. :)

I had to go to a store on 5th Ave (between 59th and 50th) because I need to speak with them regarding a pen they were servicing and the side walk was just stuffed with people, I ended up hitting at least 10 people trying to avoid hitting other people... I hate the holiday shopping season. This is one of the many things that makes me an antitheist.

Finally used these two gift cards I got in the summer at the liquor store on a bottle of Royal Salute. Should be a good one this Christmas. Also tried St. Remy's a la Creme, which tastes like their version of Baileys. Tried out a simple cognac cocktail that'll kick off the party, and then I proceeded to piss away five hours playing a video game which I haven't done in over a year. It was either that or watching Chelsea.

Only flipped on the work Blackberry at 7pm...still have one fire smoldering yeah..
