1. I'd like to announce that animated avatars are now available again. You'll have to reload, but they are once more possible.

We've been doing a ton of work behind the scenes. The site load speed was already under 1/2 of what Huddler's was, on average, and we installed cloudflare, which means that the site should be even faster. A ton more will go on in the weeks and months to come, and some things will be more visibile, and some less.

    Cheers,

    Fok.

The soundtrack is pretty good, the movie is decent. Their combination is sublime.

    Fun Thanksgiving:

No turkey. Lobster and prime rib on the North Shore.
    Bourbon, wine, bubbles, and sake.
I walked in to the house within 5 minutes of being there a crusty old New Englander approaches me. The first words out of his mouth are, "Now I drink a lot, and I mean A LOT. So, I know what I'm talking about." he proceeds to tell me some off the wall story. I knew I was hanging with the right crowd at that point.

After much booze was consumed the gentlemen above asks me if I want to smoke some fine New York grass with him outside. Of Course!

We come in and listen to an Alman Brothers record on vinyl. THE WHOLE ALBUM. There was like 5 of us in various states jamming out.

Same old guy later puts on a pair of lobster swim trunks over his pants.
Conversation with his wife is as follows:
    "Why don't you take something?"
    "Oh, what should I take?"
    "How about a hike."

Didn't know I was spending Thanksgiving with Don Rickles.

No beef here. I'm just curious what you're capable of now that the restricter plates have been taken off.

It's all good, brother. Sometimes my dry sense of humor doesn't translate that well over text.

I had a great holiday weekend.

thursday ran a turkey trot wiht my son, then we went to the palmer house for thanksgiving, then hit a museum. Friday, ran another 5K race with my son, then went to see the muppet movie. saturday, went to the oriental institue in chicago with the family, and spent some time with friends. sunday, spent the morning at the gym with my son (he swam 2 miles) and then we went to a sound of music sing a long, which is sort of like a family friendly rocky horror type of thing. then, finished the evening off with dinner at a very nice steak place, a business meal with my wife invited, so it dind't cost me anything,

    great weekend
