Stitchy, I am legitimately concerned that one day I am going to be reading the Pissing You Off thread and you are going to tell everybody that you have diabetes.

I'm not saying this to try and sound like a whack job, but I think you could benefit from one of those cleanses. I think for the first two days you would be on the verge of killing spree, but once your body starts to get used to lower levels of processed sugars I think you would be in a much better place.

Where the hell do you get off calling me a whackjob? Do you have any idea the affect of refined sugar on your body? It's basically poison. You should read up on it before you act like you know what you're talking about. Jeez, you Douche!

My wife, who for the most part is in her right mind, has done the lemon juice, cayenne pepper, and maple syrup thing twice. She has much positive to say about it.

I am happy I am sipping coffee with my feet up and not at work.

Woke up at 5:30 because Mrs. Piob wanted to be crazy and hit a couple of Black Friday things. *sigh* I'm not about to let her go out into that craziness alone so off we went. Two places and neither was crazy. Made me very happy. Also, my new Kindle Fire attaches flawlessly to my Samsung Android phone and surfs the web quite well wirelessly!

I have a full size batch of roasted poblano and cilantro sausage ready to grind and stuff in an hour. :slayer:

did a turkey trot with my son yesterday. really great living in a village - we must have seen 25 or more people we know running. a half dozen people that I excersize with from different places (wieght room at the Y, boxing gym, etc) came up to say hello, and several said some variation of "hey, you're dad's a great guy" to my son, which is cool. then I ran into two women I don't know, one older one younger, who asked me if I ran up a certain route every morning, early. I said that was me, and she said "my daughter and I pass you every morning on the way to work, and we find it really inspiring that you run in rough weather, it inspired us to start running, too". that was pretty cool, and doubly so that my son was there to hear it.

Based on what I'm assuming is your definition of 'refined' (specifically complexity of the carbohydrate) you know that maple syrup has the same 'refined sugar' in it as standard table sugar as well as higher levels of even more 'refined' sugars, right?

There's a slight chance, that I might not have been totally serious with the first half of that post.
