Gave the best interview of my life yesterday with a statewide official. It's probably meaningless of course, because people even higher up the food chain have a more politically-connected candidate, but still, I walked out of there feeling like a million bucks. Good preparation for the next one.

    ^^^awesome!

four weeks left of classes. Crunch time, and then after the holidays the real work begins.

Really? I hope you're joking. Whenever I have seen him I ask myself how the guy got a show...

Anyway, the Union Square Christmas market thing is open now and I got a gingerbread cookie, hot apple cider, and some beef jerky and that is making me pretty happy.

He's alright. I like him a lot better than Leno, Fallon and even the current incarnation of Letterman. Conan has kind of fallen off too. Does Jimmy Kimmel still have a show? I always thought he was underrated.

Of course, if I'm watching tv at 10 I'm usually watching Stewart and Colbert.

    hes on 12:30-1:30 in bmore. i like the show because;

    1. he is a silly child and constantly throws out childish bathroom/sex/weed/other inane humor

    2. he is quirky as hell, and has dome some great skits, i really love when he lips syncs to songs for the intro

    3. he doesnt give a fuck

    4. he freely curses on network television

    5. his monologues are are tied together, not one liner after one liner...zzzzzz.....

    6. he is focking hilarious

if you dont like him you suck (except for pB, even though you dont like him we are bros :fistbump: )

just go to you tube and search "craig ferguson song opening" for starters, or "craig ferguson monologue"

i think you would enjoy it. not pc in the least.

here is one, he is the guy who enters wearing the trench coat. btw my 8 year old walked in as i was watching this, she just asked me a lot of questions.

Last week I had lunch with a girl who was interviewing for a job at my company.
She just had an 2nd round with my boss and emailed me right after--said she mentioned we had had lunch so my boss might ask about me.

Then she said "I also thought you would want to know that she mentioned that you were one of the success stories among the research staff! :)"

Probably saying it so I put in a good word (she's actually a great candidate) but it still made me happy

I took the Holocuast surviver lady to lunch.

And then I spent the afternoon with the most famous Doctor in the world, reminiscing about old friends.

My stress is gone and a very good day indeed.

I get the sense that the stories you could tell would make a great book.

In other news, I am prepping my shopping list for tomorrow where I'll buy everything I need to make dinner on Thursday. It's a lot of work, but since my family lives far away and my wife's family cannot be trusted with such an important meal, I'm happy to take on the work.

Also, I'm drinking my dinner tonight. I'd like to think that Harvey Birdman would approve.

Edit: I just did the tally, and I'm going to need like 3 lbs of butter.
