Oxy-Clean is magic.
+1 I could not live without that stuff.
I heard an hour-long segment on the radio about this guy and his story. So interesting.
We told you this shortly after the site was revamped. What took you so long to switch?
I love obscure applications of eccentric genius. Multiplied by a coefficient of tragedy, and you have an awesome 60 Minutes episode.
I am a fat lazy creature of habit.
My employer is going to start paying cell phone bills (or providing a blackberry...but who wants two phones?) for people at my level and below
I suppose it is a double edged sword for some people...but I already have a smart phone synced to our exchange server that people know I check so for me it is just free money.
Also, I'm on a family plan and the reimbursement covers more than my personal share of the bill...so I'm going to safe my family money (and also upgrade them to unlimited texting since my mom just got a smartphone and I occasionally go over the limit on my plan).
I'm putting off a work BB (or forced to Sync my smart phone) as long as possible. I like being incommunicado on nights and weekends. Everyone has my cell if it's really urgent. I'm sure it will happen sometime in the coming months though...
Not a CPA or other qualified person, but from personal experience, make sure to declare 25% of that as personal use and pay the taxes on it.
I did it on my own as soon as I got a smart phone. I happen to often end up "on call" for something where I don't know when or if I am going to get an email...These things aren't usually so urgent that they need to be done immediately, but having it on my phone is the difference between being able to go on a shopping trip/long bike ride/visit a museum and having to stay at home.
As long as I get the email and can get to a computer in hour or so (or send a quick response immediately), I am set.
Before the phone, if I was waiting for something that may or may not show up....I'd have to stay at home or at a nearby friend's place where I can use their computer to keep checking.
The reimbursement may actually be partly tagged as taxable income...I'm not sure (but they have been doing this with phone/broadband/etc for senior staff for a long time)
