    It's unbearably hot in the office right now. At least over 80 degrees. The heat is going nuts but it's not that cold outside...:fu

    bah...we got an email this week that woohoo! premiums are not going up like they did last year.

    of course that means that the deductables/copays/etc are all going up. I think I'd rather see the premiums go up a little....certainly my accident that I had this year would have cost me a lot more than the difference in premiums--ER visits are now going to be a $150 copay just to show up unless you are admitted (which I was not despite broken bone and stitches) plus 10%.

    The only two things that got better were that preventative care doctors visits now have no copay (other copays doubled or tripled) and generic drugs went down $5 (formulary and non-formulary went up $5).

    Hahaha, pleeeeease brotha. The company i work for is too cheap to pay for AC. I'm the summer my workplace is about 110 degrees and humid as snatch after a marathon.

    Which would be exactly why premiums are going up or deductibles hugely increased to prevent premium rise. Bending that cost curve down!
