Nobody would believe it. It's just that far out. I didn't sleep with anyone either.
It can't be any crazier than the shit these other assholes tell us. Just spill it already.
Or do you stalk her before running away from the Campus police???
You are the only second year surgical resident I have ever known that has weekends off. You must be a very special liar flower.
favorite day of the year - the day my company pays the annual bonus. I have more money in my bank account, right at this moment, than either of my parents even earned in a year (pre-tax), or than either of my siblings ever earned in a year (after tax). in a matter of hours, it will disappear ina flurry of fiscal reposnibility that is positively obnoxious. I think that all that I will spend on myself will be some new cold weather running clothes, and a few suit lenghts of cloth.
Buy your wife a day at a spa. That investment will pay off 100 fold.
we are going to the ballet tonight, and some of the money is earmarked for something for her. that is part of fiscal reposnibility. me, I get some long plastic underwear.
Nice drizzly night, a little chilly here in Tokyo - got most of the windows pulled shut, just a feint breeze of fresh air. Huddled around table with our laptops like mac nerds, got the dog on her pillow at our feet, got a bottle of red wine and some cheese and snacks going. Doesn't get much better than this for me. I would never leave my house if I didn't have to.
Take note children - this is how a marriage works.
Good stuff, GT, and congrats on that big fat bonus.
What's making me happy today is that Mrs. Piob's b-day weekend starts at 3:30 with a happy hour with friends at a place with seafood. Can't wait to slurp a few oysters, have a lobster slider or two and sip some nice refreshing wine while I toast her. Life would not be nearly as good without her.
Sweet! Aren't you tempted, just a little bit, to go out and blow it on something like Maserati?
Regarding the "earmarked for something for her" remark, I'll never forget the time that my wife called (just around the time I got my bonus) to inform me that she had just purchased $2,000 worth of personal training services.
Congratulations on reaping the results of all your hard work.
Bravo, Piob, and I hope you two have many more happy years ahead to celebrate.
In my wife's case, it was a shotgun for skeet.
let me clarify, at my position in the player scale, I would barely be able to get a prious. yes, I am very tempted to do some shopping of my own, but such is life. I have my bonuses planned out, years in advance, and this one basically goes right into the bank.
you most definitely deserve every cent of that and then some.
