Awesome! Good luck with the shortlist role.
My 28 -month daughter puts herself to bed...
That's quite sweet..
So, things that are making me happy:
MAJOR - Got a call from a friend yesterday who had good news, continuing recovery on his part (YAY!)
SEMI-MAJOR - Cool front blew in this morning. I wasn't happy about getting a big headwind on the back stretch of my second 800 which killed my times, but it was what it was, and my times up to then were great, so I can take some solace in that.
PIDDLY - I received an italic nib for one of my fountain pens and it writes exactly as I'd hoped. I smile every time I use it. irrational, but it is what it is.
Mrs. Piob's b-day weekend coming up and I have something planned for every night this weekend starting with a happy hour with friends at the local seafood restaurant/oyster bar on Friday.
lol, we did not see any mascots. maybe they leave after the summer
however, we had an amazing time. participants were me, the wife, our 3 kids, my mom, my younger brother (15 yo) and my niece (21 yo). i spent time during the day with errybody and covered all the good rides. was an amazing day.
but the best by far was saved for last. i ended the day on a large swing ride with my daughter. there is something magical about that end of the day ride. was dark outside and the ride was lit up with a rainbow of colors. faint amusement park music in the distance. crisp, cool, clear evening, watching my girl ride around waving her arms and laughing. was just perfect.
Watching my wife soak in the bathtub, and I'm drinking a Yoichi 10yr with soda right now. knocked out a little work today so it's reward time.
I am having a nice chat with Jessica.
my 30-year-old doesn't. not so sweet.
hell, didn't know kwilk's family's big in japan.... "for relaxing time, make it Wilkinson soda time"
That's single malt, Nikka
just discovered these at 7-11
Not what I was referring to when I asked for pics
Reminds me that my new apartment is in dire need of some whiskey.
Jamie just called me on my mobile. She's stuck at school and waiting for a friend so they can leave together. Apparently, the centre is really messed-up. Obviously, I'm not happy with her situation but I'm glad she called.
