American Dad reruns, generic brand potato chips, and browsing fashion blogs is all I need in life. Don't need that cunt.

I left on vacation having done everything i had promised to do before leaving and given everyone an open invitation to contact me if issues came up on a project we were working on. Certain people did and I helped out almost immediately after being contacted. A colleague that I can't stand and that i've been hoping would eventually tie his own noose may have done that while i was away. He had some implementation issues on the project we were working on, didn't reach out to me so two weeks were lost, and instead tried to scapegoat me by blaming my absence upon my return in front of my boss and the head of another dept. It backfired on him.

After the meeting I made it clear to both my boss and the head of the other dept that i didn't want to work with him anymore. My boss is onboard. My boss isn't his direct boss but if he finally weighs in it'll be bad for the other guy (my boss is the nicest guy in the world) and the head of the other dept is an impartial witness to what happened, and the VP doesn't like him much either. Everyone in our dept is on same page and none of us want to work with him anymore. At this point the guy appears unreliable, incompetent, and untrustworthy to everyone with the knowledge to be able to tell that he's a bullshit artist. He doesn't do anything, treats work like a vacation, tries to place blame on others, etc. God i will be happy if he gets the axe. Fuck him. With 10% unemployment, i'm sure we can find someone with better skills that isn't a complete asshole and a misery to work with.

Dude, I wicked happy for you!

I got hungry and found that I'm out of everything but pasta sauce, sliced jalapenos, onions, garlic, and a tomato. I chopped up the tomato and onions, cut up the garlic in to tiny bits along with the jalapenos, sauteed it, and then added the pasta sauce. It's delicious.

took my kids to the dollar store today for a few prizes. it made them so happy. it reminded me of being a kid, at the dollar store the toys are the same as they were 20 years ago.

i wish i was still innocent enough to be satisfied with a cheap little plastic toy and not thousand dollar shoes and the like.
