She needs to unwind after that anal tour?
heh, two things this morning.
1) awesome track workout. From being miserable on Monday afternoon with a summer cold, to kicking ass on the track Friday morning is a great reminder of how quickly things can turn around. I think I'm becoming a speed junkie.
2) Got my grade back in my tech writing course: normally I don't care a whole lot about this, but for our business plan assignment I decided to do up a business plan to revive New Coke - via an underground indie company. My act of subversion got a high A and was judged likely to succeed with no modifications (that said, there's a hefty amount of BS in there). So, if the CPA thing doesn't work out, I can always do the indie hipster beverage thing.
New New Coke?
T-bone, cool idea. Here's the theme song for the campaign: Isn't It Ironic?
Just realized, long weekend next week and also our anniversary. Can't wait. I know this will be shocking but already have a tasting menu meal booked
I'd almost think coke might go for that...
Considering how many brands are owned by the same few companies already, why would they be opposed to giving someone the recipe and helping with the distribution in exchange for an ownership stake (but of course with no liability if it fails).
Put it in a red can, call it just "New" or something but let the media make sure everyone knows it is actually new coke. Might not be a beverage that makes it long term and is around in 20 years...but for a while it could see success.
finally got things on track at work, which means I don't have to go to work during our extended holiday weekend, which means I should get the bike from the shop later.
Work on losing that beer belly, mister.
happy anniversary, piob. sorry I won't make it for dinner next week.
yes!@ The whole plan evolved from the target market, being pushed towards those who were too young to remember the horror that was New Coke, the first time around. Everyone likes to cite the lessons of New Coke, but so many people never actually tried it. Well, let's remedy THAT oversight, shall we?
The marketing materials were the first thing to come to me, which then evolved to the target market, which then dictated the advertising strategies, distribution, and manufacturing. In other words, really, really low-budget, low-tech, under-the-radar. No one would ever get rich from it.
For a foundation, I took Jones Soda Company and asked: what if they didn't 'sell out'? It was a fun mental exercise in how far I could color outside the lines and still make it all make some sense.
Happy Anniversary to you and the Mrs!
NOICE. Before the weekend, too!
Good things are coming my way. Excited for classes on Monday, getting some jeans today, and a possible promotion is in the works.
So this is happening.
At least its not McDonalds.
SRY NEO but you posted to the wrong thread. You should post this to "Things that are making you fat"
I'm going to hit the weights and go running this weekend, friends. It's all good.
