I prefer Cafe Costa...
It is posher...
Finally got a job interview, I didn't realise finding work would be this difficult. its only at a coffee shop, but I'd be happy if I got it.
Work has finally picked up to where I'm getting 30 to sometimes 60 hours a week. That's good. During the recession I only worked occasionally and some weeks not at all. I hated unemployment and all that bureaucratic BS.
So I had to buy a drink this morning, didn't make tea as I didn't plan to be in the office.
I get to the gas station, it is 545AM. I get my drink head to the cash register and there is a very stereotypical African-American lady ahead. She has Fuji water (lolz) one of those expensive lemonades, some other stuff, all told, $30 in drinks and some small snacks. Apparently, she had enough to pay $2 on her card for a hot dog. Then she decided to get the $30 items. Which she did not have enough money to purchase.
She proceeded to chew the proprietor out for him not selling her the goods, even though she had no money.
After a minute or two of her complaints, she drops the race card on him, saying he's treating her like that because she is black.
Dude is African.
In essence, she tried to game the system, lost, then told off a guy for not selling her shit she had no money to buy then accused him of racism.
That made me literally lol.
you gotta do, what you gotta do.
what about white bitches?
They be white.
I got paid caramel apples for dog sitting. Caramel. Apples.
How about cash?
If it wasn't for my cholesterol levels, I'd happily take caramel apples over cash money.
I wll always take cash...
The lady was going to give me $20 to take the dog outside to poop twice, and fill his bowl of food, but her kids made caramel apples so I asked for them instead.
I would have taken both...
The cash would have been my tip..
We get it. You'd rather have the money.
Some of us value different things or think in the longer term. I'd've taken the caramel apples, especially if it's from someone Stephen is in regular association with. He gets delicious apples and a way to avoid having to pay her cash for any favors he requests in the future.
Nothing beast a good vacation. Enjoy it.
