1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

What the hell? I'm not fat. So I like to eat bacon and ice cream and other junk once in a while. It doesn't make me E Honda.. The next person who mentions my weight again or makes cracks about Jamie, I'm fucking reporting them to j.

If we're reporting things to j, let's start with that ban on Neo talking about girls he put out there some time ago.

Well, bittersweet. The build site of Vineyard's End will officially be sold tomorrow at 11am. It's the right move and I'm happy the proceeds go into the mansion fund, and when said mansion is found, the lot won't be a drain on my personal balance sheet. However, sad to close that chapter on the thought of custom building my own home.

the roof rack that carries the bikes makes a howling/low pitch whistling when driven at highway speeds. My wife and i pretend its no big deal and ignore it... but it really was annoying because you had to turn on the radio to drown it out...

I didn't want to buy a wind fairing because it complicates things, its large and makes contact with the roof, and possibly increases MPGs, then found this:

    [IMG][IMG]

yakima windjammer - its basically an airfoil that snaps onto the crossbar.

I bought two of them and thankfully they fit onto the different branded [thule] square bars. Two of them were cheaper than one wind fairing.

And it worked! Drove up to Bear mountain for a bike ride today and there was no more whistling. it made me very happy...

After I passed by blue bottle... I'm also happy for their iced coffee [new Orleans].

Damn that's a lot of fans. you should replace the fans with the 120mm on silentpcreview made by scythe (i think). I've got those in my system and they're fucking awesome. They're extremely quiet but even when they spin up, the character of the noise is just a smooth whoosh of air so there's no annoying noises. Best money i ever spent on my pc was making it silent, and by silent i mean it makes less noise than the ambient dB level.
