Last night I was honored to sing at The Kennedy Center Honors. At the end of it there I was about 200 ft from The POTUS and First Lady, Paul McCartney, Oprah Winfrey, Jerry Herman, Bill T Jones, and Merle Haggard...all of them stood up and clapped for me. I could have just fallen over dead right there. [IMG]

Today is a beautiful day. I just want to carry the energy of yesterday through my life. All of those people gathered in one room for the purpose of honoring the achievements of others was powerful and moving.

I'll share more info as the show gets closer to airing date, Dec. 28th

    congratulations! thats quite an achievement.

lol, work is now following a procedure that myself and my coworker are not allowed to travel in the same car or plane because the collective knowledge that could be lost would be crippling to the company... good timing, I have a job review next month

Tonight, for the first time ever, I saw Guinness Foreign Extra on a store shelf, at The Oaks Gourmet Market near my apartment. Huzzah, huzzah!!!!

I've loved Guinness Extra Stout for years, but the Foreign Extra is 7.5 percent alcohol as compared to around 4.5 for Extra Stout.

But it's not about the alcohol . . . Foreign Extra smells like smores roasting over a campfire and is one of the best liquids that's ever gone down my gullet.

This is the closest beer to Arthur Guinness's original stout (1759). Sláinte!

O RLYY??!?! HMMM, might have to take up the old millstone again and knock a few back.

    ...

Dog's home again and resting comfortably. Getting my speed back after a few weeks of little running. Hmmm, what else. Ah well, that's good enough.
