1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

whew - spent a large part of yesterday getting a new portable AC installed in our server room, since the last one was starting to get really noisy. After spending part of the day trying to figure out how to get the exhaust hoses to stick together, I had an epiphany (at 6 p.m.) and promptly got it squared away. I came in today to find that it held through the night and the server room is now a good bit colder than it had been previously. yay me.

[IMG] Awesome! Dad and I shoveled out from last night's snowstorm (spring, where are you) and went out for a nice breakfast. Soon, I'll run some errands and then spend a couple of hours at the library perusing the Sunday Times and reading a few books. Pure bliss.

Had a long layover in Chicago, went into the city, hung out with a friend, got lunch at Gino's, have leftovers for the flight, KDub stood me up, and now I have a few hours in the lounge!

Told me he'd be working 11-6 at his place of employment. I show up, it is closed. Apparently he was working at his other job which he had heretofore neglected to inform me of. Said establishment--also closed.

There is a what appears to be a professional couple of a man and woman sitting at the bar in the lounge. They seemed to be getting amorous but things have coled off. It was amusing to me as they clearly are single. ANyway, terrible story but funny to me.

I was just now assigned a project which initially seemed daunting. Fortunately, I found a loophole in MS Word that will make this go over a lot easier. [IMG]

One of my assignments today allowed me to spend an hour hob-nobbing with the big shots. [IMG]

I'm not a fan of the new direction NEO is taking his character. He is transitioning himself as more of a guy's guy now. We have enough of those. His remarks as of late have also lacked the subtlety and sophistication they once did.

Look buddy, if you are going to be a sock, be the best damn sock you can be. You are not moving in that direction.

That whole "James - Jamie" thing makes me think he truly is a guy's guy. NTTAWWT
