• CALLING ON HOME SEWERS TO HELP HEALTHCARE WORKERS FIGHTING COVID-19

The lack of proper masks, gowns, and eyewear equipment is making it difficult for health workers to do their work fighting the novel coronavirus. In a recent New York Times article, medical workers said they were worried about how they can both fight the coronavirus without imperiling themselves, as well as their loved ones when they go back home.

If you are a home sewer, please consider helping my joining Hickey Freman Technical Vice President Jeffery Diduch in his effort to produce and deliver homemade gowns and masks to medical professionals in the greater Rochester, New York Area. Read about how you can help here

That toastmasters stuff is hard. Don’t think I could do it. I went to a chapter(? Regional?) competition to support one of my employees and they gave them the topic they were supposed to give a speech about one second before they stepped up on the stage.

she actually won, and the reward she gets is to go to the next level of competition, which is scheduled on her wedding day. Doh.

Louis Armstrong had a bathroom with wall-to-wall gold mirrors and wrote of them: "it's a pleasure to see yourself wipe your ass from all angles."

I’m a master of making toast. You gotta use the bagel setting for bagels and English muffins. Or if you have a toaster oven you gotta put it on “broil” (not “toast,” very important!)
we are currently toasterless, microwave or otherwise. been using the big oven or pan method :bored:

I really dislike bread. And it isn't for low-carb reasons. I love carbs, but I've always had a hatred for bread. 🤮

we were toasterless for the past few years, then I had FOMO when I seen a nice KitchenAid toaster that would match my mixer so I bought it, thinking we would be making toast, bagels, English muffins ect. again. Fast forward 6 months and it's been used like maybe 5 times since buying it. Toasters are over-rated.

When he was led off he “forgot” his walker.
That walker gimmick been bugging the hell out of me, the dudes not even that old, and is trying to get sympathy. It reminds me of Jodi Arias, she had blonde hair until she got caught and went to trial and dyed it dark trying to look all innocent
