I actually can't wait to see S2 again. Don't think it got the respect it deserved. Certainly the slowest of the seasons and the one that impacted the show's story the least but it was the only one where we saw what happens above the streets. Read a theory once that the reason people don't like S2 is because it focused on white folks.
Don't get me wrong, I know I'd probably enjoy it more on a re-watch binge. I found the port story interesting. Aside from the slow start which you've already mentioned, the thing I dread the most is being subject to Ziggy again. I've watched a fair amount of television shows but he was seriously the most irritating POS imaginable.

A hearty breakfast at a small, quality restaurant set the tone for my day.

Rode my bike into work today (or at least from home to MARTA, then from MARTA to work). It was fun. Somehow I have a feeling biking back in 90 degree heat won't be much fun though.

My girlfriend showed up outside my house with a slushie yesterday. She called me out, gave it to me, then drove away to continue doing whatever it was she was doing, allowing me to get back to my video game without much hassle. I had previously mentioned to her that it was pretty hot out and a cold drink would be nice. [IMG]

The time I spend with my two bigger kids in the morning walking my daughter to the bus stop and then my son to school. It's usually the best part of my day. School's almost out and I think I'll miss it.
